Pastor Tim's life verse is Matthew 6:33.
His dedication to the Lord has led him to serve churches in Florida, Hawaii, and Georgia before accepting the call at Amity in November 2019. He met Jan, the love of his life, during a two-year missionary term with the North American Mission Board. They married in 1985. They have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.
Pastor Tim received his BA degree from Samford University in Birmingham, AL, and his MA in Christian Education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He was ordained as a minister in 1990
at Oak Park Baptist Church in Gainesville, FL.

Rev. Charles Ingle
Charles and Millie Ingle minister with a genuine joy for the LORD. After interims at Amity, one as recently as 2018-2019, Pastor Charles preached his 1st sermon as Pastor Emeritus on January 29, 2023. We cherish his sermons every 5th Sunday.
Born and raised in Long Shoals, Pastor Charles attended Lincolnton High School, Gardner-Webb College, Limestone College, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He was ordained as a minister in 1956. Over the years, he pastored a number of area churches, including Mt. Anderson Baptist, where he presently serves as Pastor for Senior Adults. He and Millie married in June 1952 and have 2 children, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
